PFD Patch

Introducing the Describe PFD patch, an accessory to laser tattoo removal. When used with traditional laser treatments, it allows for a faster, safer, and more effective removal experience compared to without the patch.

Allows up to four times as many laser passes in a single treatment. That means your tattoo will be gone sooner than you think.

Helps to protect skin from the heat of the laser, which may result in less injury and less discomfort during treatment.

Less injury may mean reduced time between office visits.

  • How quickly can I see results?
Results will appear gradually after a few sessions. Most patients will not see significant changes until after about 2 or 3 treatments. Results will continue to improve until the last treatment, or until optimal goals have been achieved. Your Practitioner will work with you on a treatment plan and expectations.
  • Will the treatment be uncomfortable?
Each laser’s ability to emit ultra-short pulses of energy makes treatment very comfortable, fast and with minimal downtime. The use of cold air by the practitioner and the option for the use of numbing cream will also increase comfort during treatment.
  • Are there side effects to laser tattoo removal?
Laser tattoo removal can have side effects and requires proper aftercare. These are discussed in depth during your consultation. Some common side effects include: Redness and Swelling: It’s normal to experience redness and swelling at the treated area, similar to a mild sunburn. Blistering and Scabbing: Although not common, blistering and scabbing may occur. It’s essential to not pick at scabs to avoid scarring. Pigment Changes: Temporary changes in skin pigment, either lighter or darker, can happen. This usually resolves over time. Pain and Discomfort: Some discomfort during and after the procedure is common. The use of cold air during the treatment and the option to use numbing cream help ease discomfort. Over-the-counter pain relievers may also help.
